All applicants must possess

  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

  • A satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

  • National Lifeguard certification

We train all applicants for

  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act Training

  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System Certification

  • YMCA Child Protection Training

Various staff also possess additional desired certifications

  • Ontario Recreation Canoeing/Kayaking Certifications

  • Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certifications

  • Challenge Course Facilitation Certifications

  •  Outdoor Council of Canada Certifications
