RKY Camp has been the fortunate recipient of multiple Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant through out our Revitalization Campaign as well as during the COVID Pandemic.

The Ontario Trillium Foundation is an agency of the Ontario Government.

The mission of the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is to build healthy and vibrant communities throughout Ontario by investing in community-based initiatives and strengthening the impact of Ontario’s non-profit sector.

The following RKY projects were funded by grants from the Ontario Trillium Foundation:

New Homestead Kitchen

New state-of-the-art industrial kitchen

In September of 2019 RKY received a grant for $146,800 to purchase kitchen equipment for our new Homestead Dining Hall.  An essential project considering the over 25,000 meals we serve per year.

Resilient Communities

Operating Grant

In August of 2021 RKY Camp received a $49,000 grant to help us through our pandemic recovery efforts.  This funding allowed us to keep all of our year round staff on payroll and prepare for the eventual reopening of our traditional Overnight Summer Camp programs.

Resilient Communities

Capital Grant

In March of 2022 RKY received a $15,000 grant from the Trillium foundation to assist us in upgrading our internet capacity at camp.  This will allow our staff to have video calls with home or for appointments.  This service will also provide the necessary bandwidth for RKY to manage its communications and business software from camp.
